EE Xbox Game Pass

I purchased broadband & specifically went with the package that would include the 12 months xbox game pass as this worked out financially beneficial to take this offer. However, i'm still unable to activate the 12 month game pass meaning that im now going to need to renew the game pass myself & pay for it again even  though EE should now be providing me with it.

I spoke to EE & they said to allow them until 14/02 & yet from what I can see we're still no closer to a fix after continually trying day in day out to activate the add on.

Seems like this has been an ongoing issues for years with EE. I switched from Sky broadband as had issues with there broadband service & now im wondering if I was better of staying where I was. Very disappointing especially as this has been a long term issue which you would have thought hey could have resolved by now!

Hi @ZoeMouse it’s extremely frustrating isn’t it. In the end I called through to the helpline & had to insist that they sort it for me there & then. I vented my frustrations & the handler I spoke to ended up speaking with his manager & they just credited my account with the cost of a 12month game pass.

It wasn’t how I’d have liked it be resolved but I was tired of trying to get it sorted & wanted to put it to bed so I took the offer.

Sorry that you’re going through the same thing, I feel your frustrations, I’m sure you will get it resolved in the end if like me then you will definitely not renew the same deal next year.

Good luck!

Hi!

Thanks for your quick reply!
Honestly, it’s ridiculous! My son should have got 24 months ultimate pass with the Xbox I got for him in May. I’ve phoned, I’ve done online chat and been in store. I just keep getting fobbed off.

5 hours yesterday with online chat. It took approximately 4 hours to get them to understand what it was that I was wanting!

I try really hard to not get annoyed, as it’s not the person who answers my call/chat/sees me in the shops fault. But oh dear I’m losing it now!

My son is autistic and driving me insane asking me, sometimes several times an hour, if EE have fixed it yet! He just wants to play with his friends!

I have been an EE customer for a great number of years, I have 5 different devices with them, after this, as each contract ends, I will be switching to a different company!

I’m pleased your issue was resolved in a round about wonky way, not ideal as you say.

Thanks again for your reply, and reading my rant!
