"Unfortunately, we couldn't log you in, but you can still buy or upgrade - just choose what you want to do"
Seems like this error message has been posted a number of times but it's still not resolved. Despite showing I'm logged in in the top part the error messaged stating I'm not logged in is still being shown. I can't buy a new phone and plan. I've tried on different web browsers and the app but the result is the same.
Any ETA on when EE plans to fix their site?

Solution:
I spoke to someone from the upgrade tech team. Changing my password seems to have sorted this.
Hopefully this helps anyone else having this issue.

Hi,
As described above the website just doesn't work properly, I dont know what else to say.
Seeing that this error was already talked about and not fixed a year ago is worrying though.

I have the same error, a pay monthly customer, I log on, go to My Shop and get the error message "Unfortunately, we couldn't log you in, but you can still buy or upgrade - just choose what you want to do." straight away, I dont even get as far as choosing a deal.
I get this if I am logged on or logged out. Its the same on my PC and on my phone. I tried changing my password, no difference, been like this for days now.

This is also happening to me.
Im not here to ask for help, Im just here to say this is basic site functionality that is broken. As a result I will be looking again at unlocked phones from other sites or potentially switch providers.
The user experience on this site has always been terrible, this has been a bug for clearly over a year and it doesnt sound like anyone cares about fixing it.

Jumping on the bandwagon to say this issue is affecting me too. Truly awful website design. What a shame as I have only ever used EE (was originally Orange back in the day before I was moved over to EE when they merged with T-Mobile). 14 years of custom down the drain.
