Upgrade my phone

I looked a couple weeks ago at upgrading my Samsung 24 phone and it was saying I could.

I have recently purchased a add on line for a laptop 

But now telling me I can no longer upgrade my phone contract

Why is this?

Thanks for coming to the community. 

Could you text UP to 150, does the reply show you are ready to upgrade? Could you also, log into the EE app, and select Manage and scroll down to Your mobile plan, are the contract dates correct? 

If so and you're ready to upgrade, do you get an error message when selecting upgrade in the EE app?
