We've brought forward £50.00

I am a new EE customer with a SIM-only plan. When I received my first bill, instead of £21, I had to pay £71—it says We brought forward £50.00. I am a new customer and have never been an EE customer before. Could you explain to me why I have been charged?

@mihov79   it’s probably so you can have roaming enabled,  it’s refundable token as you are a new customer.  EE just want to make sure you’re not going to go abroad and rake up a large bill.

You can request it back by calling customer support.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
