Insurance Delays

I made a claim of stolen mobile phone on 14-05-2024. Still no response from EE. Highly ee is not recommended to anyone. Every-time I call them I hear the same words ‘we are having some checks, please understand’. It is already almost a month. More worst thing is I complained against them and they gave me a deadline of 25 july! Seriously!!! They need 2 months to solve this!!!!  Waiting and paying insurances for something you don't have.  Worst experience ever!!  WILL NEVER RECOMMEND EE TO MY ENEMY EVEN.

@Fa38    Do you actually know who the insurer underwriters are because it’s not EE.  The underwriter has to approve the claim not EE.
Did you read the paper work that you received about the insurance policy.

“The insurance element of Full Cover and Damage Cover is underwritten by Chubb European Group SE. See T&Cs for more details. Other benefits of Full Cover and Damage Cover will be provided by EE and further terms apply. For more information visit ee.co.uk/insuranceterms if you are a consumer or ee.co.uk/businessterms if you are a small business customer.”

Hi @Fa38

They have 8 weeks to reply to your insurance complaint.

Clearly there is something not right about your claim. After you receive the final decision letter you have the right to escalate your complaint to the FOS.

Thanks
