@ekangadean1 You changed your plan and any change of tariff will terminate the insurance unless you request to keep it. The damage to the laptop can not have back dated insurance applied to it as that’s called fraud.
if I remember correctly you should have got a notification about the insurance being removed.

Hi. Thank you. So what do I do if my insurance cannot be added? I did not get an email or confirmation insurance was removed. I have no intention of committing fraud, I am just a customer trying to use their device they pay for monthly and unfortunately, insurance was cancelled; I did not know. I appreciate your comment but it would have been great if you could have understood my circumstance and addressed me better. You were not the EE colleague I spoke to who only highlighted I would pay more for the sim plan change. If anyone else is willing to help I would be delighted.

@ekangadean1 The best option is to call customer support and ask why the insurance got removed as you did not request this and was not informed it was as going to be removed nor did you get any confirmation it has been removed.
