Hi, I’m eligible to upgrade my sim only plan to a phone plan but EE have told me due to payment history I can’t upgrade so they advised me to make 6 payments on time (which is 6 months) then I may be eligible, I am now caught up with my bills and have made my last payment on time, does anybody know if I will be upgrade sooner than 6 months as 6 months is a very long time to wait…

No one can tell you. EE has systems in place and each order/upgrade is different.
Have you tried upgrading again?

Yes, and this is the message I get when I try to upgrade, but it does say on the app I am eligible to upgrade, but when I spoke to EE on the live chat they said I can’t upgrade due to payment history but I made all my payments, but I really don’t want to wait another 6 months to upgrade as I took out the sim only contract as EE said that I could upgrade to a phone plan after 6 months on a sim only plan.

I'm sorry but if you got behind on paying your EE bills and they have asked you wait 6 months there is nothing you can do. They have a duty to make sure you don't go into debt
