I was a victim of EE misselling too. I was encouraged to swap from BT to EE and was told that a new and upgraded router would be supplied which would be an improvement on the Smarthub 2. hwoever, the broadband was swapped but no router provider. When I phoned to complain and ask for the router - they took the complaint but just cancelled the contract when I said I was going to complain to the ombudsman. One person was sympathetic and said it was happening constantly, the other from the so-called loyalty team was just rude.
As a long-time EE mobile customer, I will now be looking to move off EE completely and I am going to talk to someone in the ombudsmen and the press.

@Lisab22 what service do you have?
The BT Smart Hub 2 id a good router, is there anything that it does not do for you?
Do you really want the hassle of changing all your devices on to a new router when you have not mentioned what improvements you would get over your current router?
