Upgraded but still says I'm on old plan with old speeds

Hi, upgraded broadband yesterday after getting a really good deal with new phone etc.

Guy in shop upgraded us from 500mbs to 900mbs for an extra £3, so why not.

Speeds are still the same and the EE app still shows our plan as the old one, 500mbs.

I've restarted the router a couple of times.

Do I need to speak to someone? How long does it normally take to upgrade as it still seems I'm on the old plan.

Thanks

@Coops15 Until EE send you the e-mail or text that the request has been carried out your speed will not increase until it is action by EE.

Your order once applied you should see the upgrade request in your account.... As you did it all at the weekend more than likely Monday onwards.
