Unable to connect to 192.168.1.254

Hi
I'm looking to check my router settings but I'm unable to connect to the above page. Access to the internet and online services are fine, but it's just this page.
I get the below error and I don't understand why this is. I really don't want to reset the router
This site can’t be reached
192.168.1.254 took too long to respond.
Try:
- Checking the connection
- Checking the proxy and the firewall

It wont have 254 on the end of the string, it will be something like 192.168.1.1
the above is the most common, some end 0.1 or 8.1 etc. which router Make and Model is it.

Which router do you have? Just checking. Only the EE Smart Hub & Router login at 192.168.1.254.

BT routers in UK tend to use 192.168.1.254.
I've had 5 of them, all with this address.
Weirdly, a neighbour has the same route/hub as me. His Samsung phone (on EE) can't connect to the 254 address, with this same error.
