Hello, I am thinking of switching from talk talk to EE with one of the black friday deals but I am just wondering how long I will be without internet for if I switch and I have just found out talk talk are going to charge me around £180 for early termination, so I am wondering if that is going to be paid by EE directly or I have to pay it myself and then claim it back later. Thanks.

@Prototype1 As long as EE are offering you the switching deal, then they cover up to £300 but it is not automatic that you get it, YOU are responsible to pay the final bill and claim back the final payment, link below will explain it all, Down time will be minimal but no way to guarantee how long.

Thanks for the reply, so when you say downtime is minimal, are we talking days or hours?

@Prototype1 EE are any time until midnight on the day of the switchover, and then you have to do your part of getting online if you have a self install, My switch sky to EE was zero downtime, 5 mins to swap over router. Then again i know what i am doing.

Up to midnight is when it'll occur but actual downtime should be mins. when it does.
