Just checking whether there is a way to save and restore all the hub manager settings. This was available with the BT hub manager.
I have been advised to do a factory reset on the hub to try and fix a problem with my DECT phone adaptor. I refused to the support engineer do this remotely because I would lose all the settings telling her that I would do it myself after I have saved the settings using the hub manager. She didn't say that this wasn't possible so I assumed it could be done like with the BT hub manager. But I cannot a way to do this with the EE hub manager. This is a serious backwards step from the BT offering. It will take me an age to make a note of all the settings I have changed and ensure that they are restored. Have I missed something and it can be done?
I am not even convinced that the factory reset will make the DECT phones more reliable. The actual problem is that the DECT phone stops working after about a week. It either doesn't ring at all or when it does the voice at the other end cannot be heard / they cannot hear me. I fix the problem by rebooting the hub and pairing the adaptor again.
The support engineer said that the problem was with me phone (try blaming someone else strategy). When I pointed out that the phone had worked without a problem for years when we were with BT she at least dropped this argument.
Looks like I really have to screenshot all the settings and restore them manually to prove whether a factory reset fixes the problem.
Are there any alternatives?

@IanAshley which settings have you changed from the standard ones?
Unless you have changed something from standard the router will come back with the same settings after a factory reset.

There is no Sane & Restore facility on EE's latest Smart Hub routers. 1st thing I asked when I got 1 & I do immediately change its settings. Yes, this is a serious backwards step from most other routers.

@IanAshley Does the EE Router store all your phone settings if so then you have one off the newer DV handset's, so Full Factory reset you are going to have to input all the numbers to the EE Router again, until EE sort that out and if they ever manage to get it done it's plums for operating, the reset is a maybe yes, maybe no so a once only go at it, you are the only one that can say if it clears it up or not and that's as you say time will tell, your not the first and will not be the last!
