Hi,

Newtork Interface eth 1, 2 or 3, keep going down and up is this normal and what does it mean? Is the hub bringing them down and up?

The hub is the EE Smart Hub Plus, the latest one

Here is just an example but there are many, many lines of this:

23/02/2024, 07:37:00Network interface eth3 down
23/02/2024, 07:36:03Network interface eth3 up
23/02/2024, 07:35:59Network interface eth3 down
23/02/2024, 07:35:02Network interface eth3 up
23/02/2024, 07:34:57Network interface eth3 down

@Mikeharris1971 Sorry, missed your reply, must have been coming in as i was sending the edit to you. Your EE Router and the ONT are connected at max speed, to test your PS5 cable to the EE router, i believe that there is something in the PS5 around network settings that test's the network speed, if you get below the 100 then bad cable, anything above then nothing to do with the cable. Run that test, not a PS5 user, but son is so have seen it done.

I have done the test and getting 920 download and 110 upload so no issues there. That's what they are saying I should be getting.

@Mikeharris1971 That would be correct and good, so now we know that the port is good and the suspected cable issue on your home report from EE, was/is the issue as reported network ports switching off as per the original OP posting?
