Hi,
Newtork Interface eth 1, 2 or 3, keep going down and up is this normal and what does it mean? Is the hub bringing them down and up?
The hub is the EE Smart Hub Plus, the latest one
Here is just an example but there are many, many lines of this:

@Mikeharris1971 Do you only have 2 PS5's connected on the ethernet ports?

They have done this on previous router and everything is good. Seems to be a problem with the router and it's internal.switching mechanism/software, seems a common fault

No i also have a sky box on port 3. My ps5 takes aroun3 secs to connect when turned on and the other ps5 drops out when in use for a few secs and then reconnects. If the 2nd ps5 is used in wifi mode it works faultlesly!!!!

@Mikeharris1971 So can you expand some more detail to your posting, how long on the package, what router do you have and new, replacement, what before was working good with no issue's, and do not have anything similar that would be possible to test the outcome for you, can let you know that Any device connecting to the ethernet on my EE Smarthub+ takes 20 seconds of negotiating on the port before i see an active connection state, this is easy for me to check, have PC or Laptop up and connected, pull ethernet out, put back in and what the nic status time until icon state changes. Wireless is a liitle harder to check, on one of the dell's it does have a nic on/off switch, icon appears about 10 seconds latter, then launch Edge and just wait until page shows up, once connected though they NEVER drop off no matter what...
Advanced log, event will show for sure nic up/down state with power on/off devices.

I have had x2 super hub 2's, been on 900mb for 3 weeks.problems started after a few days of router restarting to do updates. In the technical log it shows all 3 ethernet ports going off and coming back on 3 secs later and all 3 do it pretty much the same times

@Mikeharris1971 Would start by removing the sky ethernet connection 1st to see how that goes! And take it you have the BT Smarthub2 router also, is that correct.

I have had 2 superhub 2 routers. I had a router previously and it worked fine on copper connection.

I got the 2nd one on there the ee smart hub plus.sh32b Just got off phone they reckon the current cat7 ethernet lead isn't compatible and showing as orange on their connection page. Apparently I need a cat 6 cable!!!

@Mikeharris1971 You can forget that advised info, cat 6/7 has nothing to do with it unless your cable is damaged, cut or broken, orange light on the EE Smarthub+ is loss off BB connection, on the OR ONT modem, little white box that the EE router connects to, explain the led's, colours that you see. Or better take a picture on your mobile and post it up.
