Firmware update EE smart hub plus

I read a couple of posts on here saying the EE smart hub plus has received a firmware update. However, my hub is still on the same firmware version. Does anyone know what the firmware update changes are and when we can expect this?

@XRaySpeX Abundant was not talking about FW updates, but with reference to ALL the oops and quirks that the Plus router has. And as you say, the latest and greatest if that is what it is or even correct, still not seen it, just got to 60 Day's up on the current FW, and NO issue's apart from the slow response on the web manager.

Fair enough, @JimM11 . Was just summarising the history of SH+ FW updates as can be perceived.

Not bothered by perceived slow speed of the GUI as I will be using my existing EE router with stronger functionality when my FTTC is shut off.

At the mo' I must be unique outside an ISP test lab by running 2 BBs & their routers in parallel (not series as often) with SH+ on FTTP for WiFi & older router on FTTC for Ethernet'ed PC.

Well said. My router has a lot of memory leaks and issues at the moment it’s really inconsistent. The tech team are aware but don’t bother fixing it with a firmware update

@MarkJ67 How do you know all of this? My EE Smarthub+ is rock solid on the EE FF 500, and was so also on the FTTC 40/10 before the upgrade, and once i got the copper line sorted out.

Inconsistent speeds, pages loading slower after the routers been online a couple days, ui being very slow to load after a couple of days of being online, inconsistent gaming connection. The firmware has issues still

@MarkJ67 FW yes, Ui yes and now at 10 second load, page etc but with everything else no complaints.EE Smarthub+ SH31BEE Smarthub+ SH31B

All the speedtests I've done on my FTTP over SH+ (& other router) have been consistent at the stated speed of my FF plan. Not one had dropped below!

Neither have pages been slow to load.
