Daisy chain EE Smart wifi Plus extenders

Does anyone know how to daisy chain EE Smart wifi Plus extenders?

I’m trying to extend our wifi coverage to the summerhouse at the far end of the garden. I’ve positioned one extender in the kitchen window and that is working fine, pale blue light and shows a good connection on the EE app.

I’ve put another extender in the summerhouse but that lights up orange. When I check on the EE app it looks like the summerhouse extender is connecting directly to the hub rather than through the extender in the kitchen which should be transmitting a much stronger signal.

My understanding was that you could daisy chain the EE wifi extenders in this fashion, it is one of the reasons we switched to EE. But maybe what I read is wrong?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Ginger Steve

I have the same question. Can the Smart WIFI PLUS satellites be daisy chained?  Yes, or No. Please. 🙏

@Ginger1963 Have you tried walking towards the summer house with your mobile phone to see where the signal drops away?

Same question with Smart Wifi Pro. Bizzarely I can get the last unit to connect to the send point when in the same room but when I take it to its destination it refuses to connect even though an Orbi based system happily works over exactly the same route.

Your question is one I have been asking EE about , I have the same problem  . I have moved a booster into kitchen yet my summer house one still connects to the main router . I do not believe they can daisy chain  . I have a second engineer out at my house next week   and if he cannot get it to daisy chain then I will be cancelling the contract with them . I had BTwhole home system before they moved me  to EE and I got a perfect signal in summerhouse with the whole home system . I have been told different stories by different engineers and customer service staff about what works and what doesn’t . Will let you know what happens when I get another engineer visit next week . Good luck

@Ks666 : Can't you continue using the BT Whole Home?

No I can’t as they told me it isn’t compatible with new router but before I moved over  they told me it was . I tried it but it kept losing signal . All these issues with EE are a joke . Had no problems with BT in the four years I was with them and I have had nothing but problems since they moved me to EE

I understood it was compatible. It's the BT Complete WiFi that isn't.

Yes that’s what they told me before I moved over . But when I connected  BT whole home to the EE router it works for so long then loses signal and you have to reboot router to fix it every few days . A complete joke
