My mother just switched to EE. Being 91 she opted for an engineer install. The internet works fine, she can connect to it from her PC, and I can RDP into her PC . HOWEVER we are unable to connect to the Hub admin control panel. We have tried the default 192.168.1.254 in the web browser but there is no response. I have used ipconfig to confirm this address is the default gateway and DHCP server. The hub also does not respond to a ping on this address.
Is there some sort of lockdown the engineer might have done to her router?

Try accessing the router from http://192.168.1.254/

Welcome to the community.
If you're still not able to access the hub manager, I recommend restarting all of your equipment and trying again. Let us know if it then works.
