Hi, I’m trying to connect a Panasonic controller in heat pump to Panasonic Cloud through my EE hub. This would allow me to control heat pump from Panasonic App.
There is an Ethernet connection which connects from EE hub to controller unit in heat pump. I have check with my laptop and this connects to the internet fine. However when I connect the Ethernet cable into Panasonic Controller I just cant get it to work.
Panasonic UK say that they think the issue could be a firewall in the EE hub. They say “Could be the firewall yes, TCP/UDP ports that need to be open are 80 and 443.”
How do i go about checking these ports ore open on my EE hub

Those would be outgoing ports in Panasonic Cloud. Outgoing posts are never blocked & so nowt special needs to be done for them.

@Skye1985 See the link below if you need to look at the PF example.

@Skye1985 - do you have the exact model number of the heat pump controller?
When it's connected to the hub, can you see it in the network device list in the Hub Manager at 192.168.1.254?
What hub do you have? If it's a Smart Hub 7 Plus then have you tried both the 2.5GbE and 1GbE LAN ports on the hub? If it's a Smart Hub 7 Pro, then worth reading the advice at the bottom of the page here i.e. you may have some success if you try connecting the unit via a cheap unmanaged switch.
