I'm new to EE, previously with BT. I have a 500mbps contract and for most of the day that is what I get, until around midnight that is. Every night at around 12:00 pm the speed drops to less than 25 mbps. Its so slow sometimes that pages freeze on my phone. I mentioned this to EE snd was told it was due to high usage. Surely that can't be right as I thought the speed was guaranteed. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

@DublinBoy did they say where the high usage was from? If you have a device that uploads or backups to the cloud you can easily reduce your download speeds.
Do you get the same with only one device connected to the router?
