received by iPhone 12 pro max 512gb this morning and a lovely phone and the blue colour is just perfect .....BUT ..... the screen has such a yellow tint when I put it next to my iPhone pro max 11 to compare. It really is very notice able. Anyone else notice this ?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @ScottyX5 and @Amanda1967 ,
You can check the settings on the iPhone 12 pro Max to alter the screen tone and colour.
If you go to Settings, Display & Brightness, Tap True Tone to off.
You can also change the Colour Filters in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Colour Filters
Tap Colour Filters, Tap Colour Tint so it's checked. You can then slide the Intensity to how you would prefer.

this could be because you have true tone on. If you go to setting displays and turn off it should fix it

Hi @Amanda1967.
In addition to the advice above, have you removed the protective stickers from the phone?

Apple use a protective paper sheet now. @Amanda1967 if you look on Macrumours forum there is a thread about this; you can change your colour settings in the settings menu 🙂

Yes I did check for any film on the screen. Will just keep an eye on it and see if it settles down or not

Hey,
yup - 1st iPhone since ip6+
pro max 512gb pacific blue and the screen is yellow. Have done everything online to try and improve but still yellow. Ran a pure white video on YouTube on new iPhone and old s10 5g - iPhone gave me sun burn 😉
call to tech support in the morning 😞

That’s what I thought when I compared my new 512gb in pacific blue to my 11 pro max. The same picture side by side and it was very bad. Turned off the True Tone and that didn’t make a difference either. Looks like this is the first problem with these new phones.
