New phone last week. Am I doing anything wrong when I zoom in on objects Surely this isn’t meant to happen

Everything is blurry from about 5ft away

@Pez093710   But on taking a picture you wouldn’t zoom in on some from 5ft away to the point you don’t know what the picture is of.
