i originally used the EE chat  because i had thought that there was a problem with  my order however later in the conversation i noticed that i just double ordered but still continued the process and let the worker help me with my order ad also re sign me up with EE as i was an old customer but left and have now returned. the order that i had placed was the iphone 11 128gb for £54 a month with an upfront cost of £100 and was told that i would receive a text telling me when my order would be arriving, i still have not received a text to my mobile phone and i do not know my order number or anything, i did not have the transcript sent to my email but now i regret not clicking yes. can anyone help me as i am not sure whats happening with my order. i logged into my ee account hoping to see that i have made an order or some sign to tell me that an order was made but there was nothing i had also checked my emails and text message but there was nothing there either to let me know that my order has been successful just the person on the chats word, the only thing i see on the texts is the message that says "please join me in a screen sharing session, its secure and simple ..." with a link attached to the end of it enabling me to enter my card details

That sounds suspicious & nowt to do with your order. Don't go there but what was the link? Why would you want to give your card details to an unsolicited text?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Good Afternoon @kyh3

Thanks for coming to the community.

Recently we’ve implemented a new process for registering a bank card on your account when speaking to our advisor over the phone or chat.

The advisor will talk you through the full process and will then send you a link for you to fill in further details. This process will register the card to your account, you'll then be able to use that card to process payments both over the phone and online in the normal way.

This will only happen if you are speaking directly to one of our customer service advisors over the telephone or chat.

Speak soon,

Katie 🙂

Hi @Moo666,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Was the process as described by @Katie_B in the comment before yours? If it was, this is the normal process for securely registering your card when completing an order over the phone.
