Due to COVID-19, i left the UK for a year, now my number is not activated. now  i want to recevie a message to complete the census. How can i active my phone? it is very important for me

@kxl837  if you’ve not used it for a year then fortunately the number has been deactivated and you can no longer get it back.    You need to make a call or send a text every 179 days to keep activated if it goes over this it then goes into hibernation for another 179 days after this if it’s not been reactivated by you calling customer services then it’s fully deactivated as it seen that it’s no longer in use.

 

  You can not get it re-activated and you’ll need a new sim and that will mean a new number.
