Will a new SIM card keep my old number?

A relative has offered me their old phone as an upgrade, however it requires a smaller SIM card than the one my current phone uses, and my current SIM card is solid and does not have the option to 'pop out' a smaller one as I have seen described.
If I order a new SIM card (I am PAYG if that makes a difference) will it automatically still have the same number? And is it possible to do this through the EE website?
Thanks.

Hi @Muir75
Thanks for coming to the community.
You can order a new size SIM online, you'll need to sign in to My EE and this will have the same number for you 🙂
Thanks.
Leanne.
