Pretty self explanatory. I ordered last Monday (26th of Oct) and it said dispatched within 14 days. Well the 14 day period ends on Monday and my order status still shows "Awaiting Confirmation".
Was it late for anyone else? Whats your experience?

2 weeks ago on monday (26/10) and it was the gold! 2 weeks to come I was promised and I had actually paid an early upgrade fee so pretty miffed about it all!

i ordered one same date as you. Ordered the gold 256gb and my delivery date says 18th - 23rd

This is totally unacceptable from EE.
I ordered on 31/10 by phone and they took money from me straight away. I was told by the guy 7-10 days to get my phone. I now have an expected date of 25th- 30 Nov. Upto 30 days after my order. They have also had my money for upto 30 days.
If people have ordered after me and are getting phones before me its unacceptable on EE behalf.
Can someone from EE explain the ordering/ allocation process?

I think I ordered mine on the 25th Oct
But I notice now I have an expected delivery date of 11th Nov to 14th Nov
in my order tracker, fingers crossed

Was this an upgrade or a new line?
One other thing is that I ordered my phone earlier than the 25th Oct but
then after a call with an agent I upgraded my phone instead of a new line.
I am also on a business account so I am not sure if that is any reason.
The device may also play a part, I ordered the 12 Pro Blue 125GB

My order was an upgrade also iPhone 12 128gb Pacific Blue.
My main issue is that EE are moving dates after telling customers they will get their phones on a certain date. ( this could be done to ensure orders are taken) They then take your money, and then move the date to 3 weeks on top of what i was told without any explanation.
If they had said you won't get your phone for 30 days after order, i would have looked at other suppliers.

I understand it's not great at all.
I cancelled my Apple order as on the Small Business section of EE it says
in stock even today.
But I have some idea of how challenging the different procurement and
supply chain are and it's in a pandemic so I am just trying to not worry
about it to much.
Its my first iPhone since the 7 so I am pretty excited.
Calling is not an option either as it takes a really long time as the call
centres seem under quite a bit of pressure.
