Hello. I can’t find any information about what to do when my contract is coming to an end. It will end on 20/09 and I don’t want it to be renewed but I want to keep my number

These mobile contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel or upgrade. To keep your no. you could phone EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your contract & ask for it to be moved to PAYG or you could port your no. to another network..
