Looking for some assistance.
I'm looking at unlocking my Huawei B525s-23a router.
I have read on the community posts that

Where did you yourself get this device itself originally? Did you buy it yourself new direct from EE or from a 3rd-party reseller or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process & costs are different. Was it originally on contract or PAYG? How old is it? EE won't unlock contract devices less than 6 months old.

@Netwizz : You can just apply using the Unlocking your device form and giving the mobile number that it originally came with.

No, doesn't work!
EE doesn't recognize the phone number, nor the IMEI, despite the fact I'm reading them from an EE invoice!
After a 20min wait for a customer service advisor, they were unable to help......
Not happy!

If this was from EE, do you have a pay as you go or pay monthly account?
