Me and my husband bought twp new ee sim cards with 40 GB date and free unlimited mintues, worth of 30 pounds each from heathrow airport, but looks like we don't have any data or free mintues other than 20 pounds balance. Helpline runs in pre selected automated options and there is now way to connect to helpline personnel. Highly disappointed.

They look remarkedly like the online £20 EE Summer Data Offer SIMs except they come with only 40GB data for 3 months instead of 50GB.
It would appear that you paid the seller £10 each purely for the pleasure of selling you £20 items.
As you have already spent £1.05 (on calls?) of the initial £20 top-up the primed pack cannot now be auto bought & won't kick in until you top it up to at least £20.

Oh that's the worst kind of fraud.... highly disappointed. I'll change my service provider. Wouldn't recommed EE to anyone

It's not EE but the seller, SIM Local, you have dispute with. It's they who may have defrauded you.
However it could be of your own making. Who did you call for £1.05 from that SIM?
Try calling CS on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2 > option 4) . That won't ask for an EE mobile no.
