Switching from three

Afternoon all,

So on Thursday I bought a monthly SIM from EE and I texted Three for my PAC. Which I received and used when buying the SIM. The port does not seem to have been completed yet (received the new SIM around 3 hours ago) Now the PAC is not recognised on the ee.co.uk/switchingnumber website. Am I to assume then that I don't need to do anything since I already used my PAC when buying my new SIM and I just have to wait a little longer?

Thanks

Hi

Welcome to the EE Community and the Best network in the UK, imo

What you're saying is correct - if you used the PAC while signing up for the new contract - then the second time you attempted to use it, it was invalid.

Your number may take 1-2 days usually to be ported over.

Thanks Andrew, happy to be a new EE customer! Noted, now I can relax and enjoy my weekend! 😅

You're very welcome - Any issue please contact EE - we're not staff. Usually you would do the switch of your number after getting your new sim (as I did). It's cool that it gives you the option to use your PAC while ordering your SIM

Just to add, if your port hasn't completed by perhaps 3 or 4 days after you expect it to... so maybe Tuesday evening or Wednesday in your case.. then call C/S to get everything checked over.

Awesome, cheers 👍😁
