I'm still waiting for your possible way out 😞 . Pointless asking your neighbour. The issue is with your line & the upgrade done to it. You're dragging this out by not answering my Qs 😞 .

Hi Rob, EE's speed estimates from MyEE for BB.

Thanks. You should complain to CS that you are not even getting half your Min. Guaranteed D/Load Speed of 24.8 Meg. All you're getting is 10 Meg, much slower than before your upgrade to Smart WiFi with Smart Router. They probably left some cap on during the upgrade & forgot to remove it. EE should look into this urgently & fix it immediately, as this is a contractual promise.

Whether or not there is a bridge tap there it was there before the upgrade & would have had the same effect on speeds as you haven't really changed your BB product, Fibre BB with Landline. All you've changed is adding EE Smart WiFi within the house.

openreach engineer attended property found out that they used to be a second telephone socket in house and council (we live In a council house) cut the socket off and plastered the walls, over the wiring and left the original master on the wall to top that off the wiring out side had a small cut in it and the indoor wiring was under the carpet under metal carpet grippers 😞 so openreach openreach replaced the broken bit of wiring outside and renewed the indoor wiring and gave us a new master socket with separate broadband and phone ports now Internet is faster than ever. 👍
