Showing wrong device on account

I currently have iPhone 8. I’ve recently added a line to my account (sim only using iPhone 5s) for my daughter. However, just noticed, my device has also  changed from iPhone 8 to iPhone 5s. Is this normal? Is there a way to show iPhone 8 for mine and iPhone 5s for my daughter’s? Thanks

@MBE   Did you put your daughters Sim into your phone before you put it into her phone if you did then your account is showing your daughters phone because your Sim card went in it make sure your Sim card in your device then open the app connected to cellular.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

No, they put my daughter’s sim on iPhone 5s in the shop.

Hi @MBE

When did you take out the new SIM?

Does an iPhone 5 show under your SIM and your daughters SIM?

Katie 🙂

Few weeks ago.

it’s showing the same phone for both numbers, but mine should be 8, not 5s

Morning @MBE

Thanks for coming back to us.

This will update for you in due course if you continue to log into the My EE app on the EE network.

Our Mobile Care team have details of which phone you are using, and this won't affect any details within your app.

Thanks.

Leanne.

Hi,

how long do you mean by “in due course"?

It obviously happened when i bought my daughter's card and her number was added to my account. This happened a few weeks ago now and it hasn't updated yet.

Also, why did it change my device at all?  Thanks.

Hi @MBE.

It can take up to a few weeks to change, although to won't effect your usage of either SIM card.

It may have changed because this is the first phone that the SIM was put into.
