Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Ive just been told by a Scott at EE that every single s20 ultra has been delayed and that on their system its not showing any dates whatsoever. Has anyone else been told the same?

Reports that some s20 ultras have shipped already to customers and delivery expected 2nd or 2rd

No they wont stop telling people false information.

There will not be enough supply of them

All you are doing is going to cause havoc when people dont receive them.

It make sense, as carriers/stores will then know for sure how much stock they have...

If Samsung don't have a lot of stock then the wait will turn out quite lengthy for some with the factory closures...nobody yet knows.

I have been on this forum for 7 or so years.

This happens every year there are delays

 Not everyone will get the device on release day.

@Djackson121 saying that everyone will is false. He/she doesnt work for EE or Samsung so doesnt know.

But past experience shows that the same will happen.

Samsung can never meet demand on release day.

Not everyone will be delayed but some will.

The dates people have been given so far is most likely the earliest you'll get at this precise moment in time.

Honestly ive spoken to 3 diff people today. Scott at EE told me because of the corona virus NO ONE will be getting the phone next week nd they have no dates....honestly i dont believe that one lol

Next person i spoke to told me theres no delay at all. Then the next person i spoke to told me that there is only a delay with the ultras and they have pushed back the release date to 28th march.

This is all from EEs customer service.. ??!

When theres a delay and we are paying from 13th march what happens? Just paying for something we havent got or do we get a slight refund?
