I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

@Rogerdill123   Sounds like he made an excuse on why you didn’t get it. 😉

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I'm not sure how ee would feel about their employees perpetuating fake news about a world wide pandemic effecting supply chains. This is how fear and misinformation spreads causing panic.

Hi @Rogerdill123

Not really, there is some truth in what he they said.

The devices are made in Korea, but parts will be from China, yes Samsung like most manufacturers will have stock and surplus, but as China was in lockdown and manufacturing stopped then there maybe a parts delay. Equally shipping is currently disrupted so moving goods around the world will be problematic for some time.

This situation will impact all goods. It could even impact the network, if replacement parts cannot be sourced to repair and maintain the Network.

Any good?

Hi Guys, I’ve pre-ordered my S20 Ultra on the 8th March, but on the track my order section on the EE website states order confirmed but no other information e.g ETA of when my phone will be arriving. I went into the EE store to clarify they said there is a mass pre order and the phones are being released in batches, not sure on what to do any advise ? As I’ve read some other threads and some people have got actual delivery dates.

If you have a tracking number you could try dpd site or type your details to them and see if anything comes up

@ShaneFay  cheers mate fingers crossed it will stay away

@Leanne_T  is there any update at all especially as this virus only seems to be getting worse and can see there being major issues before the now supposed delivery date of 24th to 26th March. Also is it correct that you don't just receive the ear buds that we have been told we will get with the s20+ and s20 ultra, but that instead once the phone is recieved you then have to request them from samsung members on the device? So how long is that wait going to be? Also what if due to the virus we don't even get our phones this month? How will we be able to even claim the buds? Plus through misinformation, lack of stock and issues out of our control, what if any compensation will be given to customers, especially those who paid a hefty pre order early upgrade fee(which would have been alot less if was placed at a later date)?

Hi @Apan1

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been given conflicting information.  All orders are subject to stock from the manufacturer and we're working with them to ensure we can fulfil orders as quickly as possible.

At the moment, you have up until 31st May to claim the Galaxy Buds+. You can find more information on how to claim them on our how to claim your Galaxy Buds+ article.

If you'd like to discuss compensation or your individual order, I recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team.

Chris

@ShaneFay glad you received your ultra, can I ask what model it was?
