Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Yeah. S20 ultra, black 128gb. Exact same as me and that was ee aswell. I wouldbt mind if I was originally told to expect it on the 24th march but I wasnt. I was told the 10th and then told today. But nothing. It's the rubbish some ee advisors that are coming out with that annoying me the most as nothing is ever the same story

I agree their communication is not the best.

 

Also did they order over phone/online or through a store? did you do the same as well?

 

Store stock is seperate to online/phone stock.

You can only compare if they ordered the same way. Like I said online/phone orders are seperate from ordering from a store.

 

Like when you order online you can't collect from a store unless you choose to have it delivered to a store and this is because the process is still the same. You get a text when its despatched and then it gets delivered to the store rather than your house and then you get a text when its ready to be collected.

Tbf I preordered from a store and paid a deposit and I understand it doesn't guarantee day one supply but I was told they would have stock on release and wasn't advised it could be weeks later, seems a bit mad to take cash to secure a product they cant deliver in a timely manner. I assumed the preorders were so they could gauge an amount needed to be sent to the store on launch. and then after that, it's first come first served. 

I made my order in store with them and I just called today and they told me they don’t have my order and to call EE customer service. I ordered in the 24th of Feb.

 

EE customer service guy told me he can’t see any date for my order as they’re waiting for stock. Said my estimated delivery is 30 days after order which is what my order says expected delivery 24th - 26th March.

seems like a strange way to organize things! did everyone have to pay the preorder fee? surely there would be a record of your order if you did?

It's the piss poor communication and lies from EE that's the problem, just got off chat guy said delivery starts from the 24th march.

Yes ultra 128gb grey I sent manager the order form received from ee my freind gave me !Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

I done mine on phone same as freind same phone colour gb every thing proved it to them his lucky!! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
