I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

@Profile closed thanks for your advice. All done, cancel. And the money will come back in 3-5 working days, big shame as they take them straight away 🤣🤣🤣.

Had an email from Samsung CEO in the UK and states this “Good afternoon Mr Chandler, thank you for your patience while this matter has been discussed. Our retailer liaison at EE has given assurance that the stock challenges are being overcome presently and that you should receive contact from EE shortly to advise further. In addition, we apologise if you have been misinformed by EE, as before while we are the manufacturer of your handset we would not have any information on distributor stock levels and as such contact with Samsung should not have been advised by the EE agent. This has been addressed internally, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.“

i will continue to drill out information from samsung

Thanks for the update @Joshua111

Hopefully this means we will all see the product we have been waiting months for, relatively soon...

Not going to get my hopes up tho, as wouldn't be the first hundred times we have been told something positive, during all this... Only to find out if was a lie 😒😤

Shame they didn't mention anything about extending the deadline for the free earbuds offer, in case the product still doesn't arrive before the deadline of May 31st.

Would of been nice, if they could of at least done that for us... After all this mess we have had to endure.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone on Amazon or eBay started selling "Surviver of the great 2020 S20 Ultra 512GB rations" bumper stickers and wristbands once all this is over 😅

To relieve the boredom of those still waiting (or it's just an excuse to share something slightly out of topic):

Yes, the Huawei P40 Pro takes amasing photos but do you want to find ways around having not access to Google apps?

Sorry Huawei, the P40 Pro without Google apps is just too broken to live with

This one for Fun: Huawei claimed some pretty DSLR photos were taken with their phones:

Huawei caught claiming DSLR images were taken with its phones

And do not pay attention to DxOmark's test of the S20 Ultra, the S20 take good photos as long as you care about them (framing, etc). The 108mp can give stunning results even when shared on Facebook Messenger who's known for butchering the photos with a heavy compression.

The OnePlus always scored high despite not really being good at first, especially when  DxOmark had supposedly access to a Firmware not yet released to the customers...
