Mike197928

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

No, all of Europe receives Exynos.

What I find infuriating is that Samsung Claims there's no difference between the two SoC yet South Korean's market receives the American made Snapdragon...

@Katie_B

Are there any benefits of downgrading from the 512GB to 128GB?

I didn't want to share that here but it's worth reading: https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsungs-statement-exynos-990-vs-snapdragon-865-unconvincing/

It makes me wonder weather I'll stick to Samsung but import a Snapdragon next or move elsewhere. Besides, it makes EE's upgrade anytime less interesting because it'll always be Exynos running handset for Samsung's phones.

@MissRoseGold 😂😂😂

Well i've phoned EE again this morning and have bitten the bullet to downgrade to the 128Gb version of the S20 Ultra  ☹️. I can't say that i'm thrilled about doing this but I suppose it saves me £10 a month on contract. Just got a message from DPD to say that delivery will be on Monday - some gratitude I suppose 🙄

You won't regret it I though the same when I downgraded but you really won't when you got it in your hands

@77cats just so you know, you don't have to import a Samsung device to get a Snapdragon SoC.... Just wait and order the Galaxy Fold models, as they all come with Snapdragon SoC's instead of Exynos.

I didn't know that but I'm not too much interested yet OK those folding phones. I believe the technology isn't yet ready to offer a screen as strong.
