Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

The guy in upgrades who I was dealing with managed to get the complimentary buds after an ok from his manager. I was not even complaining much . Just said I was upset to be messed around and did not want to miss out on the buds offer. 🤷‍♂️

My order number is not working as yet for some reason 🤔🤔 considerating my phone is supposed to be delivered on Tues!!

Mine was pre ordered on 25th February in store, was hoping to get the bigger storage one but all of us been rather mislead!!

I ordered my S20 Ultra 512Gb on 24 Feb and like everyone else I am becoming incresingly frustrated my the lack of communication from EE. However, the other night I received an email entitled "confirmation of your EE trade in" stating that the return package has been posted to me and my old phone (S10+ 512Gb) should be returned by 24 April. I know the 2 week date has been extended but should I feel optimistic that something is happening or am I just in for more arguements when I don't / can't return it because the new one hasn't arrived yet. If it doesn't come then cancellation is on the horizon and i'll hold out for the Note 20 in ?August.

From what I have read about people waiting for the 512 I would probably expect more arguments. The lack of communication is poor and I think this is how its going to go I am now debaiting just waiting for all of my contracts to finish in 2 years and then leave myself. Its a shame I used to recommend ee to everyone but since bt has brought them its been nothing but waiting. Had to wait for the watch with no communication, had to wait for the s10 5g with no communication, then the active watch 2 again a wait with no communication then the s20 ultra 128 granted not a long wait compared to the 512 but still a wait with no communication very poor service.

 

Shame because with out the poor customer service they are a good network for signal and stuff. Its just trying to get the product to start with.

At this point I would accept that the 512gb will not be coming anytime this month or next. This isn't limited to EE, my friend works at O2 and has been told that the delivery's are delayed by over a month if they will ever arrive in the first place.

 

Your best bet is either cancel and get a different phone or downgrade to the 128gb version.

I've changed my order for a 512 to a 128 with a view to if and when the 512 is readily available I might bang the 128 with SD card on eBay to part fund a sim free 512...
