I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

@Johanm my guess is that as they come in they aren't delaying them by locking them 🤔

Just noticed the price has gone down 10% across the board on the s20 range 🤔

@Dave1458really gone down??!! Not fair really when I am still waiting for my phone to arrive, whenever that will be!

Yep but I'm assuming you'll get it at the current price, you'd need to ask them @rhiang1984

Just checked I was in the UPGRADE menu, ignore the 10% off I quoted 🙄

@Dave1458oh doh! Ah well I stuck now with waiting for the phone! Whenever it comes

Finally got my 128Gb Grey Ultra on Monday and after 48 hours would say this:

5G is ABYSMAL and I mean shockingly bad to the point I still have to decide whether to return this or not. Speedtest results are slower than on 4G LTE.

Would have preferred the sim to have been eSim.

Too much Bloatware on the phone. Probably explain why the long delay from EE.

Free buds approved within 2 minutes.

As for the experience from pre-order to delivery of phone:

Lack of information throughout was a huge negative. Didn't phone though, so just commenting on the notification process.

After 48 hours, I would have to say the long delay has not been worth it.

@briangee

Tbf 5g is sketchy at the best of times I've seen videos where simply facing away from a tower can drop speeds from 800mb to near nothing. It's still in its infancy and until the network coverage is improved the speeds won't be great. Certainly won't be a make or break for me atleast.

I've got mine arriving tomorrow after stepping down to the 128g as I don't see a 512 in my future anytime soon!

If the screen and cameras hold up to expectations I'm sure I'll be satisfied
