I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

phoned them earlier he said by the end of the week? So were expecting to wait another few weeks? thats absolutely crazy how can they be pushing 128s so quick and not 512s

@sima I'm guessing the 128gb models have been prioritised for production which obviously makes the 512gb harder to come by, tbh the guy also stated the with border closures it might get harder to get anything into the UK but I'll take that with a pinch of salt 🙄

@Dave1458 Yeah i guess i get that but what i don't understand is i've waited this long for a 512 i thought id change to 128 when i said this they told me id be put back of the que as if i haven't been waiting nearly 4 weeks already for a phone they also said i'd lose the claim for the buds even though my original contract was a preupgrade?
Literally so fed up with being told lies! I'm at the point where i don't know whether to wait the 2 weeks for 128 cause atleast they are still being delivered or wait another month or so for a 512.this is the last time ill upgrade with ee

I contacted EE today as I heard nothing after ordering 3 weeks ago. They said I'll receive it in the next few days. I asked where the phone is being delivered to and they said my home address.
I finally received my DPD text, and it's being delivered to a closed store instead.
I contacted DPD who have said they can only change the delivery address if EE chnage it.
I have since spoke with three EE agents, and none of them can even remotely help me.
Has anyone else managed to redirect their delivery?

I got that email before I cancelled my most recent order when I phoned EE and queried it I was told this period would be extended to the 45-day maximum and to call back if I still hadn't had the phone by then.

Yeah I feel yah, tbh I'd thought that Samsung would have made more units pre launch but obviously they didn't, I'm going to wait it out because with the amount I keep on my phone in pictures and music the 128gb isn't going to be enough, I know that because I'm on 512gb note 9 ATM.

@Dave1458 Well i've just called up EE and changed my phone to the 128 black and i'll be getting it tomorrow, they have enough of them in stock and because my phone is so cracked i'd rather have a new phone then get the free buds i paid less of the upgrade free today and gonna get all my money back anyways so figured with the money i get back i can pay for earphones i have now a better contract with unlimited everything and swappable benefits all for a decent price im happy tbh, im just gonna move all my images onto my mac as i already have an extra external hard drive on hand 🙂 time to make this quarantine less **bleep**ty!

I hope this works out for you as this is exactly what they told me on Friday, and on Saturday when I rang back after having no delivery they told me they were out of stock and it would be two weeks at least even after taking payment for next day delivery.

Thanks I just gave up waiting literally i've decided never to upgrade with ee again because this was an absolute joke!
if you call up i think you get a better service especially if you get someone who isn't reading off of a transcript but hey i hope you get yours soon too!

I have a pre-order in for the 512 at the store from March 2nd, I phoned to check on this as the stores shut, I was told it would be months BUT... if I wanted I could have a black 128 the next day and cancel my preorder with the store when it reopened, fed up of waiting I thought why not. they set it all up signed on the line and took payment for next day weekend delivery, then I heard nothing so at 6pm on Saturday I rang back to be told the order wasn't completed due to the phone being out of stock and it would take at least 2 weeks to get me that model. I canceled the whole thing and will wait for my original pre-order,
I opened a complaint got my delivery cost back and a compensation credit for the inconvenience. Seriously fed up wit the customer service.
