I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

How many of those who changed the delivery date from the 30th to the 29th actually had theirs delivered today?
Being stuck in at home I quite fancy going out for a walk and don't want to risk missing the delivery if it does turn up today, despite no one hour slot notification. Run the same risk again tomorrow if i don't get the one hour notification message. 🙄

@Graeme2812 I would call dpd via the app see if they can give you info on wether it’s with the driver. If you call via the app you skip the queue.

@Graeme2812, I'm just off Livechat with DPD as I never got a dispatch note. They confirmed I would be getting it tomorrow.
I would jump on the Livechat. I know it's a bot at first but put in "Speak to advisor" and it should redirect you to a person.

Thanks @Usman7 . Just came off a call with DPD via the app and was told it's not been scanned into the local depot yet (in hold she said?) and will be sent out tomorrow. Apparently my area isn't covered on a Sunday (we are rural) so it sounds like it's at the depot but still in the back of one of the artics for tomorrow's run.
As was said, a call via the app skipped the queues and puts you straight through. Cheers!

@Paulmurph79 I was told I could have the black next day..
On reflection the next day I was told I wouldn't have it for upto 14 days.. cancelled the deal.

Hi guys,
I was called by EE on Friday. They are sending my ultra to my home address as they know I had pre-ordered in store. Managed to keep the same deal so fairly happy with that! He said delivery will be within the next 2 weeks and I'll receive a text or email closer to the time. Up until this point I didn't hear anything!
Pre-ordered in store on 22nd Feb - black 128gb model.

@Doodle-s I just got off the phone from EE, spoke to a manager who assured me there were black ones in stock, and that I should get a message tonight or tomorrow with a delivery time, it’s the grey ones that are out of stock

@Paulmurph79 hope that works out mate, the manager I spoke to said they were down to low or single digits on all phones and had zero ultras to send me. He was appauled I was lied to and opened a case against the operator who sold me the other contract. I still have the pre order from the store from the 2nd of March so hopefully something may come of that in the end.
