I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

@Doodle-s I called them as well at 10am this morning. Cancelled my order and was told I could have the black one by tomorrow and too paid for DPD next day delivery £5.95 I think, have you had any confirmation yet about your delivery, feels like it’s too good to be true, can you let me know if you have any news please

generally, you will get an email after dpd collects your package from ee warehouse. you should have the transcript from the phone call detailing the agreement etc.. DPD collects and deliver 24hrs so it can be late, usually, they are sent out in one batch from the warehouse. install the DPD app and register your email etc for updates.
Hope this helps! but rest assured you will get it the next day if that's been agreed and paid for. I was also offered free delivery on Monday.. but nobody's taking that option!
Also just checked my account details and my old plan and phone and stuff has been removed

@Doodle-s I have the DPD app, but there is nothing on it, does yours have anything on it, and have you had any news that yours is coming tomorrow

I'm still checking my app at every opportunity and nothing is showing despite the operator saying my order had been picked for delivery ☹ I'm gonna do a little dance if I get the message tonight 😆💃

Lynztay if it's for a upgrade if you check your EE app it will show your new plan details and the what's new thing will show the despatch details.

@Paulmurph79 The last time I got an order from EE I got the DPD message after midnight, usually they bulk collect for dispatch, then sort and send to each local depot before the notifications are sent out, and in that case it was delivered the following day I got a follow-up message with a 1hr time slot.
I'm confident it will arrive tomorrow!

Quick update
Got the phone this afternoon.
For now its good but we will see.
Validated the claim for buds really quick but when you call for the proof of purchase be sure to ask them to put the date of the preorder in as well. As well check the IMEI digit by digit as i had one proof of purchase with wrong IMEI. Good that im used tochecking these things.

It was an upgrade but an exchange now as the first device sent was faulty.
The what's new thing never worked for me at all and the order number doesn't work either.
The only way I'll hear anything is if DPD gets in touch or I get an email.

Just had a phone call from ee. Getting mine on Tuesday. Ordered mine on the 28th Feb. 128g black ultra.

Mines just says dpd received the phone at 6pm didn't say when it would go out.
