Anyone who has got the ultra had sign in to ee network message when coming off WiFi? Think people waiting might get phones that work properly as issues are around!!Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

@Bigdog1979 I've got an Ultra 128Gb and a 512Gb at the moment and neither of them have given me connectivity issues like that.

However, I should point out that i am only using a 4G sim.

Ironically, I'm more keen to get my EE pre-order processed so I can get my new 5G sim.

Have you tried resetting your network settings to see if that solves any glitch there may be.

Although not s20 ultra specific this article helps explain some production issues to date in the industry.

There isn't any difference between SIM cards when it comes to 4g or 5g, it's all down to the phone and 5g signal strength in your location, my wife's SIM went into her s20 (no other sim sent with phone) and picked up 5g no problem.

@Dave1458 Are you actually kidding me!!! I'm talking about connectivity.

What on earth has the physical sim size got to do with it?

Not sure where the size came into it but the last upgrade of SIM was from 2g to 3g with the introduction of the Usim, they are all now LTE compatible although for a while there was different sized SIM cards because of manufacturing differences in the mobile industry, if your SIM is the older large type you can get a replacement SIM from EE but in technology terms it's the same as the one you've already got.

When on ee page says you need 5g sim some people might be lucky and got new sims what are 5g compatible but if old sim card not sure but when read about it says need one I've went from s10 5g to the ultra so not 100% sure but I do no 5g areas are limited I'm in London in my back garden can't get 5g in my front I can and no i don't live in some mansion lol Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

@Dave1458 I'm actually speechless here.

I have a 4G SIM PLAN from another network. I can stick it into as many unlocked 5G phones as I want and I will never get 5G.

Its size, its shape, its colour, its specs are all completely irrelevant. Won't be too long before they are all esim anyway.

I'm trying to have to help someone with a connectivity issue here not the size of his sim.
