I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

An email/message from EE SUPPORT:
Hi Fiona, your order is still on track and you’ll have your new Samsung S20 Ultra 128GB 5G Cosmic Black soon!
Your order is confirmed but we’re awaiting your expected delivery date. This is while we wait for delivery confirmation from the manufacturer. We’ll be in touch soon with an update on your order.
unsure if this an automatic email due to waiting a long time? Has anyone else got an email stating this as well?

I just got three cases for the Ultra delivered from China. Amazing I can get cases from China quicker than I get the phone in the UK.
However, I digress 🙂

Off-topic but... I pre-ordered 4 weeks ago with a view to getting it at launch, and I've come to terms with the fact that virus or not I was probably never going to get it that soon! it's an early upgrade for me anyway and my S10+ is doing just fine.
so the question is, with all the waiting and negativity surrounding the performance of the phone is anyone having doubts over getting the phone especially the big boy 512gb version with the somewhat inferior camera performance....Or are we all still hyped and can't wait? or has anyone magically received one and has ant thought on it as a real user?

@briangee the phone isn't coming from the UK though. It'll be coming from South Korea.

Just wanted a better upgrade from my s9plus and s20 ultra sounds brilliant and better than my s9plus.
EE still not keeping us informed like with the situation at all in regards of the delay of the delivery of the new phone

@Doodle-s For me the hype and anticipation has totally fell flat. Thought of cancelling once or twice but you get to the stage where you've waited that long, it would be daft just not to continue waiting.
The biggest concern for me over the period has not been the phone delay but the poor way EE has handled it. Totally shambolic in my opinion.
As for the Ultra itself, it is quite simply fantastic, especially since the firmware update that sorted the autofocus issue. For the first time in years, it is actually a worthwhile upgrade from the previous version.
I'm not sure if by "performance negativity" you are referring to the Exynos processor. Anybody in the UK should have known that was the processor that would come in Europe and the negativity is a bit exaggerated IMHO.
