I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Hi @JAMES141
If you haven’t heard there is an issue impacting the whole world at the moment. As these devices are made in South Korea, with parts from China and both these countries are on some type of reduced capacity then its likely there will be delays once stock has run out. Shipping will also be another issue.
If you want more specific advice then call 150 and speak to CS.

Hi Everyone.
Thanks for posting on the community.
All orders are subject to stock from the manufacturer and we're working with them to ensure we can fulfil orders as quickly as possible.
DPD will be in touch with you when your phone is ready to be delivered.
Thanks for your patience so far.
Leanne.

@Leanne_T What are EE doing about the incorrect information that is constantly being given to customers who are querying their orders? This is what annoys most people. Staff must (surely?) be told what the actual update is regarding order, so why do they pass on so much incorrect info?
The stock answer above doesn't help answer this.

We are feeding back any incorrect information given about the delay @safcsat
I understand everyone's frustration and apologise for the delay.
Leanne.

@Leanne_T its nice to finally hear from someone from EE but you havnt really provided much of an update as to when we will receive our phones.
Could you please clarify. If not an exact date, are we talking days? Weeks? Months?!

Wonder if Leanne t his sending this automated message on her brand new pre ordered ultra 😂

@safcsat so EE not receiving enough devices to send out because the demand was higher then the amount that EE got from Samsung is not supply and demand.
Samsung didn’t ”supply” enough for EE to meet the high “demand” of orders from customers. Looks like supply and demand to me. It’s the same every year and not just with Samsung phones and every year the demand outstrips the amount that is supplied to all networks. But it’s the networks fault whatever network that is that someone has to wait a bit longer to receive a phone because it’s the latest must have and get have to be seen with the lasted must have toy.
