@billybowker wrote:@BrendonH not a lot really but I have paid for an early upgrade. The later you leave it the less you pay so as there is a delay I'd like to think they would credit some of the upfront fee. I doubt it though!
The store can't just give you this money so you will need to speak to 150 about it.

@Leanne_T DPD will text us when we can collect it from the store? What?

If its a smart plan The upgrade fees have a set time line, £200 after a few weeks £100 after 6months even if its one week before the due date you'll pay the £100.. So this isn't really relevant unless you get it after the year mark and you've paid the fee upfront?

Hi @ollymann19
If you have opted for delivery to an EE store, you’ll receive a DPD text to tell you when it’s going to arrive ready for you to collect.
Full details can be found in our Where's my EE pay monthly order?
Thanks.
Leanne.

When the release date has already gone and no one is getting any truth from EE at all whether it's because samsung are in high demand or not, the phone company we are all using shouldn't lie or tell up some stupid script they have all been given, yes I'm my opinion some compensation should be given if they cannot supply you with a phone that your paying for. When other suppliers have the phone in stock how can EE say there was not enough stock distributed?

@Rawlings1103 you are not paying for the S20 yet it will not start to be charged on your account until it has dispatched. So no compensation is needed.

@Rawlings1103 Who has the device in stock ? And I mean you will get it as all networks don’t have stock of this device as there wasn’t enough for launch day for everyone or pre-ordered.
no network can magically get more devices than what is supplied by Samsung.

Your still paying for a contract through the company who cannot give you a straight answer. And out of everything I say you point out not paying for the s20 yet which clarifies not getting compensation. Most people pre order anything thats not released yet to get it day of release. Not getting it day of release like promised when first pre ordered requires compensation
