I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

it's evident that people ordering much later have received their orders.
It's appalling customer service from every angle on behalf of EE.
If that's the case then I aggree.
We had the same issue with orders from Samsung directly, I pre-ordered a couple days after pre-orders opened and people that ordered the same phone as me at the start of March got them before I got mine 😞

I got my device yesterday. I called up on 21st of Feb to preorder. I'd noticed online the expected delivery was 24th to 29th of March so I asked the question and was told that the 128gb had that expected date. I went for the 512gb as that was showing as stock available for early release.
Anyone whom has ordered the 128gb on or after 21st you would never have got it for release.

I got my device on the 10th. I preordered the 512gb on the 21st.... at that point the 128gb was already showing not available for release.
Whatever you do, do not let the advisor talk you into reordering the device as they may have been an error. They will be trying to poach the sale and you'll be back of the que

my order was showing awaiting confirmation all the way up until it arrived at my door..... depending when you preordered you may be looking at the back end of the month...... they wouldn't be able to see it was going to be Saturday...... its not how there system works

I wont reorder still waiting I ordered on the 18th of feb and nothing told 10th now getting loads of rubbish off them but no tracking as upgrade

the way the system works is it picks the day of dispatch..... they can't check anything ahead of that no matter what they tell you.
The problem you have now is no one wants to take responsibility for you issue.... upgrades are told by managers to get anything like that through to customer service and CS are basically there to say sorry....
Which avenue did you place your order?

I ordered mine on 18th of February in store and I was told I'll get it on 13th of March. Going to the store on Friday and we'll see what's gonna happen
