I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Hey
You are absolutely right, its a joke that EE are unable to give any further information at this point to those who pre-ordered weeks ago. I called EE last night and was advised that the issue was not with EE but with Samsung as they have over promised and under delivered on handsets. I don't know who I am more annoyed at EE or Samsung. I ordered my Ultra on the 20th of Feb and I have had nothing to confirm my order. I had to call EE for my order number which when entered into EE track upgrade, shows "Sorry you can't track this at the moment". I know its just a phone and we should all be more patient but lets be honest, in this day and age its unacceptable to keep people in the dark when we all could have gone elsewhere. I hope you get your Ultra soon. I am expecting mine to be delivered next month and probably to the wrong address (sums up this experience so far).

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to reach out and see if anyone is in the same boat as me and waiting for their Samsung S20 Ultra? I pre ordered mine on the 20th of February and at the time was only given a sales journey PDF. Since then I have contacted EE and been given an order number (useless as they said this will only display information when a phone has been allocated to me). No one in any department can shed any light on when I am likely to see the phone. Given that most places are claiming there is no stock and that the current expected date of delivery is the 31st March, I've no idea what to expect. Is anyone out there who has any ideas on how to keep an eye on my order progress? Thanks

Exactly the same as me. I pre ordered mine on a early upgrade when I could of waited til april. Was told when I ordered it I would get it on the 10th. Online tracker still says "awaiting confirmation". No one can give me a date of when it will arrive as it's an "open order". I pay £200 a month as I have 3 lines. I find it absolutely shocking that I cannot get an answer of EE of when my phone will even arrive and I've had nothing at all from EE

I pre ordered mine too and still not heard anything. I been in touch with them and they said the same it's a first come first serve basis.

I will be demanding a months free billing as if i ordered it later i wouldn't have had to pay as much upfront for early upgrade especially if i am getting it a month later then when I ordered it. If i ordered it on 24th march which is when they say i will now get it then it would have been a minimum £70 cheaper. And the fact EE told me on the phone that the stores should never have been promising it for the 10th is utter bull if you ask me. Another case of get your money first and deal with issues later!!

I spoke to EE and was told mine would be delivered after the 28th March. I pre-ordered on the 19th of February

Yes, this is a rant I know it's hard for so many orders to be fulfiled by companies due to the nature of the number of orders that come through... However, I ordered an S20+ on 13th February. I then 'amended' this order on 22nd Feb to an Ultra 128GB but apparently that classes as a new order, but surely that's just like changing quantity of an order... (This can be seen differently to other people)
However enough of that, I have been back and forth pretty much every day until today 11th March with Managers, Advisors, Exec Team etc. I have been told I would receive this order before 15th at one point, then the next day they said I would receive it on 13th as they apparently 'preponed' my delivery meaning I was pushed in the queue due to the hassle etc however after speaking to Exec team again today they apparently have no stock of Ultras no more...
I think this has to be blatant lies due to the fact that some people have already received their Ultras a few days earlier from EE themselves but that's because they ordered earlier which I guess is OK but I know for a fact they surely couldn't have run out of stock already unless they are literally getting '100' batches of Ultras which I doubt for a big company like EE.
Turns out now the newest info Is they are not sure when I will receive the phone anymore due to stock issues and all the past advisors have been basically telling false information. I'd rather know if this is going to be delayed and give me an ETA for when I can actually receive the phone but ey they can't even do that!!
Surely them telling me they can 'prepone' the queue that means the can view the queue but apparently the system is all 'automated' and they can't after discovering that today so it seems like they simply can't be honest with their customers.
Anyone else have the same issue?

I've just come off the phone with EE, apparently all deliveries of the S20 Ultra have been recalled on the request of Samsung.
I'm not sure if this is a manager from the upgrades team feeding me false information (as it's taken me 4 phone calls and me telling the manager what he needed to do).
I'm not bothered about the delay, I just hate EE lack of communication and then the problems involved with reverting and reapplying upgrades.
😞

I've had the same issue. Spent lots of time on the phone to EE and have gathered so far that due to corona virus they've had logistic issues getting the phones into the country.
I was told they are allocating them on a first come first serve basis but the message boards have confirmed this as a lie. I preordered on Feb 24th but have seen messages from people who ordered as late as march 6th have already received their handsets.
It appears to only be those who requested the ultra that are affected.
I was told earliest I would see it is next month. If you call and complain I was given 1 month free line rental and £30 as a good will gesture.
I'm not sure how this affects the free airpod offer, whether they will still be sent two weeks after the phone or 2 weeks after the original launch date.
Its frustrating but I hope this helps
