Samsung s20 saying water damage and wont charge, never been wet and brand new

Any one know if the water damage when charging is a regular issue as my phone which is less the 3 weeks old keeps saying water damage. its never been out in the wet

A phone can get water damaged by many ways.

Being out in the rain is not the only way.

Sweaty palms for one.

But this is an issue with Samsung phones I had it with my S10+ a couple of times. Can you try another charger?

Are you using the original charger?
