Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

 

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

Ordered mine on the 10th went with the mystic black, I’ve just got off the phone with the upgrades department and the representative I spoke to was back and fourth talking to the digital sales department I believe she called it, seems they still don’t have any idea when the stock will come in but mentioned it looks like the london distribution centre did have some after I mentioned some people on here have had there’s which she was surprised about but still couldn’t get a concrete idea of when stock will come in and are still saying it’s due to Samsung not providing the stock.

 

she tried her best to help and understood when I said I’m not happy about the situation since I called on the 17th and was guaranteed 3 times in that convo I’d have my phone on release day, right now I just want a concrete answer and want to know what EE will be doing to make this right but I have the feeling they will do what ever they can not to give any sort of compensation and just push the blame entirely on Samsung.

Ive had the same experience and info. Just spoke to Beth in upgrades and she was lovely and did everything she could to get any updated info and was really sympathetic to the situation and confirmed about the London stock which would explain why some would have deliveries today.   She couldn't say how deliveries were being made (whether first come first served or by area depending on warehouse location) but did say they were aware of the situation and hoped it would get sorted ASAP!

 

 Sadly it doesn't seem there is much they can do until more stock arrives so unfortunately its just a waiting game for it to come in and get distributed.   

 

I do feel really bad for all the staff answering calls right now on this as seems they don't have much more information than we do but have to keep delivering the bad news to all us who are feeling like kids on Christmas day when its discovered the main present has bits missing or no batteries 🙈🙈 🙈

 

Let's just keep fingers crossed that EE manage to get the stock they are hoping for on Monday and phones are delivered ASAP.

One thing I did forget to mention and I’m unsure if she meant to say it or not but she at least is watching this forum so they seem to be aware of what’s being said but I’m guessing told not to respond because that opens up an entirely new bag of worms that EE don’t want to deal with at this moment.

Ordered mine on the 2nd mystic black EE preorder and first come first serve is a joke but one thing is for sure then don't hang around taking your money 😡🤬

I ordered at 10am on the 3rd in black and nothing either. Others have theirs though.

I’m highly doubting we will get ours anytime soon, if Samsung direct customers haven’t got theirs yet then I assume they are going to make sure they get all of them the phones and EE will have to wait for their stock.

Hi 

 

Just a few further updates to you guys and girls: 

 

Ive just been on the phone with the PR team who have basically said the information from upgrades team (eg nothing. No information on delivery dates etc. and no idea why we have been promised that we would receive delivery codes and the old chestnut of we never had any stock). I was offered a £30 refund but I have turned it down to get get through to the executive team who are supposed to call at 10am today.

 

I have been on a chat again today to ask why no delivery codes have gone out to people who ordered earlier than others who have received the devices

 

I got this little nugget of information:

 

"but there are back logic involved.. it depends on lot of aspects as the mode of order, Location and status etc..."

 

In other words first come first served isn't the case anymore, it depends on your location. So pre ordering is completely useless. 

 

Im really sorry it seems that they are digging in heels again. 

 

I will keep everyone updated but please can we all save chat transcripts and other pieces of information.

@ziggymon  good luck with the executive team mate. They are the ones that gave me £50 to hush me and said that shouldn't provide me any 'financial detrement'......even though I'm still on vodaphone and if I don't get my phone by the back end of this month, I'm going to have to pay 2 bills!!!

 

Let us know what they say as it will gives me and others the ability to challange in a similar fashion
