Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

Thanks

From what I can deduce from the recent comments here, is that the chat agents are not based in the UK and the information they are giving are either cut/paste answers typical of pre-order/delivery enquiries they deal with usually, or that they are simply looking at the situation as if you were to try and order one today, in which case the stock would not be available.

I decided to call them instead, and whilst their lines are busy (I did get through quickly at 0830 this morning however to a UK call centre) they do seem to be more able to find the information you are looking for, and if not you are in a better position to question/hound them further until they make an effort to find out. I was told that there were no stock issues and dispatch would start today. I am not sure that's something someone would just make up.

I suggest you abandon the chat if possible and dial 150.

Looks like they don't want to pose to comment

I spoke to live chat this morning and getting no sense, only it hasn't been allocated to dpd and its an automatic process and there's I sno way to track the order until its assigned to dpd

Hey all,

Just got off the phone with a UK advisor. He says, based on the details he has, the stock has not arrived and is waiting on it and can't give me a date as to when it will be dispatched.

I kept pushing him but he has no other details

I wouldn't hold your breathe all.....

Well the advisor I spoke to put me on hold for several minutes, spoke to the sales team and then on to management, before coming back and confirming what I already said.

It does depend who you speak to and how committed they are to helping. Maybe selecting the option "If you are thinking of leaving us" when you call!

I just got off the phone with them. Apparently they still haven't got the stock from Samsung to be able to start sending them out.

I don't know how long it'll take them to get them delivered, sorted and sent out but I can't imagine that they'll get that done in time for a delivery tomorrow.

They weren't able to tell me much on the phone. Looks like we're all just indefinitely waiting now.

From previous pre-order delivery problems I've had with EE, this could take a week or longer still! They're completely useless at handling a pre-order

Cheers for the update mate.

Well I'm a new customer...in my case it would be 'never joining in the first place'.....

Rang someone else and they said they might have some in stores.

Just rang a store and apparently they dont have any in stock either.

Think it's an ee stock issue overall and waiting for Samsung to provide the phones

If EE doesn't have stock and isn't likely to get it for two weeks, I can say right now Samsung have delivery dates for two weeks from now... So I'm going to see how it goes today but I may just cancel and go direct.

has anyone tried calling Samsung support yet? 🤔

Nope.

I would of thought a manager or someone high up from EE would of done that and then informed customers or put the info on their website so customers are aware as to whats going on.
